JULY IN TEXAS...

Well, I can't believe that it's almost the end of July here in Texas and we haven't even turned on the air conditioner. It has been so nice here in Central Texas, but just a little rainy... have to say it's green though! So beautiful. School's right around the corner, and it seems that as the kids get older it goes by much faster! Savor and enjoy the moments you have with your family... remember, it is such a blessing! :) God Bless!

Just a note to say to all, check out some of our fine military folks blogs, it is very inspiring and truly wonderful to see what fine people that they truly are! They believe in what they are doing and whether you believe it or not (since our wonderful media portrays mostly and only the bad stuff going on!), they are making a difference in the lives of those in some of the most unfortunate countries. I salute all of you serving and want you to know that you are in my prayers daily and I wish you a safe return home to your loved ones! Take care and know that someone in Texas is thinking about you! :) God Bless!

PRAYERS FOR OUR SERVICE MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES

Thank you Lord, for the men and women of our military. Protect them as they protect us and Defend them as they defend us. Encourage and strengthen their spirit, soul, and body as they carry out their duties and responsibilities. As they face the challenges of combat, please help them to be mentally and physically strong. Watch over them Lord as they are called upon the endure the hardships of battle.

Lord, I also lift up to You in prayer the families of our military. I also pray that these families will become a prayer force for our nation and the members of our military. Give them courage of warriors, and may peace be with them as they are separated from their loved ones.

Lord, please keep our military safe and bring them home to their loved ones safely. It's in his name that we pray... Amen
